The staff and students at Sacred Heart High School in Stittsville held a very successful food drive, which has provided support to both the Stittsville Food Bank and the Richmond Food Bank. Food donations were directed to the Stittsville Food Bank, and monetary donations were split between Stittsville and Richmond.
Monetary donations are an excellent way for the food bank to purchase items in bulk from the grocery store, especially for items that we don’t usually receive through donations.
