The Richmond Food Bank is grateful for the generous contributions of food and monetary donations from individuals, businesses and associations in the community, which allows us to provide support to those in need.

Food Donations

Food donations can be dropped off in the donation bins at King’s Your Independent Grocer, or at the Post Office. If you have a large donation, please contact us at info@richmondfoodbank.ca to arrange a time to drop off at the Food Bank.

Wondering what to donate? Please see our list of most needed items. Please check best before dates before making your donation.

Monetary Donations

eTransfer

eTransfers can be sent to donate@richmondfoodbank.ca. Please provide your full name and mailing address in the memo field of the eTransfer so that a donation receipt can be mailed to you. If your information does not fit in the memo field, please send a separate email with your full name and mailing address.

Online (CanadaHelps)

Monetary donations can be made online through the Richmond Food Bank page on the CanadaHelps website. Through this method, we are able to accept donations by credit card or PayPal, and you can choose to make a one-time donation, or schedule monthly donations.

Online donations through CanadaHelps will be subject to a 3.75% deduction to cover their administrative costs.
